Frommer's Review
Arsipel is set in a Greek-style whitewashed building that sits in solitude on the edge of the hillside just outside of Bodrum. In summer, beachgoers use the restaurant's waterside sun deck and make use of the kitchen for lunchtime deliveries. As the sun sets, the restaurant takes on a nighttime glow that acts as a magnet for the fish below, with sea breezes adding to the romance of the spot. The restaurant specializes in the preparation of fish so fresh that several of the mezes (lagos and shrimp) are served raw in lemon, oil, and black pepper. In the cooler months, diners cozy around the fireplace in the intimate wood-beamed dining room.
