Frommer's Review
Mumlu is characteristic of a typical Turkish night out, combining dinner and a folk music serenade (from 9pm nightly) on two floors of a restored wooden house. The entire experience is unexpected, obscured behind lacey curtains at the end of a back alley in a maze of back streets in Bodrum's bazaar neighborhood. The food is also surprising, on a menu that includes fistikli tavuk (chicken in a pistachio-and-apricot sauce). Mezes and main courses run $3 to $7 (MasterCard and Visa accepted). When the musical portion of the evening is complete, Seyfi Bar next door continues its own live music performance in traditional Oriental-style barrooms. Daily 8:30pm to 12:30am.
