Frommer's Review
Occupying a late medieval building in the heart of town, the Diana has been popular since 1920. This restaurant offers three gracefully decorated dining rooms and a verdant terrace. It was named in honor of the goddess of the hunt because of the many game dishes it served when it first opened. In recent years, although game is still featured in season, the restaurant has opted for a staple of regional and international cuisine, all competently prepared. Begin with one of the city's most delicious appetizers: spuma di mortadella, a pâté made of mortadella sausage served on dainty white toast. You'll never eat American-style bologna again.
