In business for more than a century, this rustic, two-floor restaurant stands in the heart of the historic district. Since 1956, the Da Cesari family has been on hand to welcome you and feed you well, luring you with their classic Bolognese cuisine. The dishes overflow with fresh ingredients deftly handled by the kitchen staff. We could order the pumpkin-stuffed ravioli with butter and Parmesan once a week. Prepared with consummate skill are such dishes as veal escalope with Parma ham and white truffles or else baked stuffed eggplant in a savory tomato sauce. Veal liver appears with an aromatic glaze with balsamic vinegar.
