This is one of the best buys in Bologna; it also enjoys one of the most scenic locations (despite the heavy traffic). Most of the guest rooms are roomy yet old-fashioned, with large closets, comfortable armchairs, and excellent beds with fine linen. The bathrooms are small but contain adequate shelf space and stall showers. The best units are on the top floor, where there's a terrace overlooking the city rooftops.
