Frommer's Review
Operated by the state's Department of Marine Resources, this aquarium offers context for life in the sea around Boothbay and beyond. Kids will be enthralled by rare albino and blue lobsters and can get their hands wet in a 20-foot touch tank. Parking is scarce at the aquarium, on a point across the water from downtown Boothbay Harbor, so visitors are urged to use the free shuttle bus (look for the Rocktide trolley) that connects to downtown.
