This 128-acre waterside garden remains a work in progress, but makes for a peaceable oasis. It's not a fancy, formal garden, but rather a natural habitat that's being coaxed into a more mannered state. Those overseeing this nonprofit have blazed several short trails through the mossy forest, good for half an hour's worth of exploring the quiet, lush terrain.
