Frommer's Review
The Spruce Point Inn, built as a hunting and fishing lodge in the 1890s, became a summer resort in 1912. Those looking for historic authenticity may be disappointed. Those seeking modern facilities with some historic accents will be delighted. (Those who prefer gentility a bit less glossy should consider the Newagen Seaside Inn.) Rooms in the main inn are basic, mid-size, and comfortable; the newer wings are somewhat more condolike. A great choice for families, it offers plenty of activities to fill a day.
Facilities:
Restaurant; 2 outdoor pools; 2 tennis courts; fitness center; Jacuzzi; concierge; shuttle; massage; babysitting; laundry service; dry cleaning; boat tours
