Nine Zero ReviewThis centrally located boutique hotel offers a sleek, sophisticated atmosphere and service in the old-school customer-is-always-right mold. Guest rooms and oversize bathrooms contain opulent features, including luxurious linens and toiletries, and extensive business amenities. The 19-story hotel, which opened in 2002, is part of the eco-conscious luxury Kimpton chain. Tucked away on a side street, which cuts down on noise, Nine Zero is within easy walking distance of downtown, 2 blocks from Boston Common and the subway. More traditional XV Beacon and the more cutting-edge Ames are the closest competitors. The service at all three is attentive and personal; let style and price guide your choice. Tip: Sign up for the frequent-guest program (which is free), and the hotel waives the Internet access fee. Facilities: Note: This information was accurate when it was published, but can change without notice. Please be sure to confirm all rates and details directly with the companies in question before planning your trip. Related Features Deals & News

| 3 stars | Frommer's Exceptional |
Frommer's ranks every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment it reviews for quality, value, service, amenities, and special features using a star-rating scale, an expression of the strong compare-and-contrast opinions that are a brand hallmark.
Other ratings provide stars based primarily on price and amenities; the Frommer's star rating is meant to quantify the kind of intangible, experiential elements that help travelers make informed decisions.
The "baseline" recommendation is zero stars--every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment that Frommer's chooses to review is recommended; otherwise, we simply wouldn't include it.
