If you're driving, take the M3 southwest from London to Winchester, then the A31 and the A338 south to Bournemouth.
Visitor Information -- The information office is at Westover Road (tel. 08450/511701; www.bournemouth.co.uk). From September to May, it's open Monday to Saturday from 9:30am to 5:30pm, and from June to August on Sunday from 10am to 5:30pm.
