Perched atop a mountain with one of the Ozarks' best views, this casual, relaxed lodge overlooks a golf course and Table Rock Lake. Sunsets are especially spectacular from the outdoor patio. Owned by Big Cedar Lodge and decorated in rustic woods and stone, it specializes in wood-fired pizzas, homemade pasta creations, and rotisserie half chicken, but also offers grilled salmon, Kansas City strip steak, hamburgers, and sandwiches. Note: At press time, Top of the Rock was closed due to fire and was scheduled to reopen in 2007.
