Planning a Trip

Getting There -- From the north or south, Brattleboro is easily accessible by car via exits 1 and 2 on I-91. From the east or west, Brattleboro is best reached via Route 9, which comes in from Bennington; Keene, New Hampshire; and Albany, New York. Brattleboro is also a stop on the Amtrak (tel. 800/872-7245) line from Boston to northern Vermont.

Visitor Information -- The Brattleboro Chamber of Commerce, 180 Main St. (tel. 877/254-4565 or 802/254-4565; www.brattleborochamber.org), provides travel information year-round, Monday through Friday between 8:30am and 5pm.
