Nightlife

If you're in Bregenz on a summer night, you don't need nightlife: Few smoke-filled clubs could compete with a walk along the lakeshore and a visit to a cafe. However, if you'd like another diversion, you can visit the Spiel-Casino Bregenz, Platz der Wiener Symphoniker 3 (tel. 05574/45127; www.casinos.at), where roulette, baccarat, and blackjack are played daily from noon to 3am (Friday to Saturday until 4am). Parking in the garage is free, as is entrance to the casino. Entrance is 25€ ($40). Men must wear jackets and ties. The in-house restaurant, Falstaff, offers a fixed-price four-course menu (it includes the admission charge) for 52€ ($83).
