Ask the locals for the best seafood in town, and they'll send you to this light-filled contemporary restaurant overlooking the river and Story Bridge. The menu changes daily; specialties include oysters shucked to order and served several ways or au naturel for the purist, fresh local Moreton Bay bugs (a kind of crustacean), mud crab, and wild barramundi. There are plenty of options for meat-lovers and vegetarians, but the emphasis is on fresh seafood -- try the shredded omelet with sand crab, shrimp, and fine egg noodles or the blackened fish with chickpea, celery, and raisin salad, and burnt orange yogurt. It's always busy, so if you don't have a reservation, prepare to hang out at the oyster bar.
