With a menu of modern fare with Asian, Middle Eastern, and European influences, Watt is one of my favorite places to eat out in Brisbane—partly because of the riverside setting in New Farm Park, and partly because of the good food. Whether it’s for a leisurely weekend breakfast, lunch, or dinner before a show at the Brisbane Powerhouse, dishes are always satisfying, such as chicken breast wrapped in prosciutto with pea puree, preserved lemon, and basil risotto, or smoked lamb loin with olive and aubergine white polenta and grain-mustard dressing. A bar menu offers pizza and mezze plates. There’s music on Sunday afternoons.
