A downright glam hotel, set in 6 former sugar-refining warehouses, the Hotel du Vin offers chic loft style rooms, ones that take dramatic advantage of the buildings industrial past (with elegantly rough walls) and more standard ones that are jazzed up with funky wallpapers. All offer a high degree of comfort—the beds throughout are topnotch, the modern furniture curvaceous but usable and the showers humongous and well-powered. On-site is a terrific French restaurant, allowing guests to stay in for the night, without feeling like they're missing out.
