Canada's two westernmost provinces are not only large, but they are also packed with amazing must-see scenery and destinations. The following itineraries focus on the top areas covered by this book: the Canadian Rockies, and especially Banff and Jasper national parks; Vancouver, Victoria, the Pacific coast, and the islands of British Columbia; and the route between these areas. Many travelers make the journey between the Canadian Rockies and Vancouver in a couple days of driving, but there are very good reasons to slow down and linger in B.C.'s highly photogenic interior, particularly if you're a golfer or wine aficionado.
