The Bob, as many refer to it, was once one of Brno's newest luxury hotels, just north of the city center. Although the hotel has slowly declined over the past years, it still attracts guests who never leave its grounds. Inside and on the surrounding grounds you'll find, as well as those listed below, a bowling alley, tennis courts, squash courts, a roller-skating rink, and a soccer stadium -- even a car wash. The rooms are very comfortable. The walk from the center is a nice 25-minute stroll through long parks. The only drawbacks can be the bland surroundings and the tackiness of some of the facilities, such as the sex-show bar or the velvety disco in the entertainment complex.
