Frommer's Review
Should you be experiencing an uncontrollable desire to rub shoulders with the European Union's politicos and bureaucrats -- including an occasional august commissioner or government minister from an E.U. member state -- this tranquil town house is a likely place. True, that's not much of a recommendation, but fine food can make all the difference. Belgian specialties are prepared in a light, modern way that makes a pleasant change from the weight-bound portions usual in traditional Belgian eateries. You can take a pre-meal drink at an Art Deco bar, and in fine weather dine alfresco in a garden at the back. The traditional wood-paneled setting features antique furnishings and old pictures of Brussels. Popular dishes here are sole, red mullet, and grilled or roast lamb. Wild mushrooms make a nice accompaniment for any of these meat and fish dishes.
