Frommer's Review
If you're searching for classic European charm or are a fan of American B&Bs, you'll enjoy it here. In a town house from 1864, the effect is more that of a comfortable country residence than a hotel. You feel as though you're staying with friends when you breakfast in the antiques-filled dining room or in the sunroom. A sweeping stairway (no elevator) leads up to the rooms, several of which have 4m (14-ft.) ceilings and ornate moldings; all have antiques and knickknacks. This is one of the city's few nonsmoking hotels.
