  • www.embajadaargentinaeeuu.org -- Up-to-date travel information from the Argentine embassy in Washington, D.C.

  • www.turismo.gov.ar -- This Ministry of Tourism site has travel information for all of Argentina, including a virtual tour of the country's tourist regions, shopping tips, links to city tourist sites, and general travel facts.

  • www.buenosaires.gov.ar -- A comprehensive government website set up by the city of Buenos Aires with some tourist links and news about the city.

  • www.bue.gov.ar -- A comprehensive tourism website set up by the city of Buenos Aires with details on neighborhoods and a calendar of events in English and other languages. The website has lots of extremely detailed and useful information, but it can be cumbersome to work through its windows and pop-ups. Be patient with it.

  • www.palermoviejo.com -- Find out what is going on in the city's trendiest neighborhood, full of the newest restaurants and shops. Palermo Viejo is further divided into Palermo Hollywood and Palermo Soho.

  • www.gopalermo.com.ar -- This is another great website devoted to this rapidly changing part of the city, full of restaurants and shopping ideas.

  • www.welcomeargentina.com -- Great information for Argentina, and extensive details on things to do in Buenos Aires. Includes self-guided tour ideas, lists of hotels, and up-to-date information on restaurants and other trends.

  • www.subte.com.ar -- This website explains in detail the workings of the Buenos Aires subway system and allows you to locate hotels and other sites of interest in relation to subway stops. It also includes downloadable maps and an interactive feature that allows you to figure out travel times between destinations.
