With a sister location in New York's SoHo, Novecento was a pioneer restaurant in Las Cañitas. Fashionable Porteños pack the New York-style bistro by 11pm, clinking wineglasses under a Canal Street sign or opting for the busy outdoor terrace. The pastas and risotto are mouthwatering, but you may prefer a steak au poivre or a chicken brochette. Top it off with an Argentine wine. At night, by candlelight, it makes a romantic choice for couples. A large, separate, slightly sterile side room is available for spillover or to rent for private parties.
