This place is best described as an Argentine parrilla, with both Middle Eastern accents and the added twist of being kosher. It's located in what was once the main area of Buenos Aires's Jewish community. The parrilla serves up wonderfully juicy and kosher slabs of beef. This is one of Buenos Aires's most popular kosher restaurants. The interior is simple, wood paneled, and home-style -- so much so that you might see the family who owns the restaurant having arguments in front of you. A selection of kosher wines, all made in Argentina, is also on the menu, and you can take a bottle home with you if you'd like. There's Middle Eastern fare such as pitas and hummus, and baklava desserts. Fast food, including pastrami sandwiches and salads, is also on offer. Service is low-key, with the waiters phenomenally quiet, but the food makes up for it.
