Privately owned, but part of an Argentine network of hostels, V&S Hostel provides exceptionally friendly service in a convenient Microcentro location. The hostel is inside of a gorgeous turn-of-the-20th-century apartment building. This unique location means that the inexpensive rooms are accented by such lavish touches as molded plaster, curved doorway entries, stained-glass ornamentation, and balconies. Five private bedrooms with attached shower-stall bathrooms are also available. A kitchen is available for making meals. A quiet library, a TV sitting room, and a patio dining area are some of the areas where guests can mingle. Several computers are also available for Internet access. This place is a great value. Atypical of hostels, there is air-conditioning throughout the rooms.
