This four-star hotel has a central location in the Microcentro, 1 block from Plaza San Martín. The hotel is known for two things not normally found in this price category -- a quiet environment and heated indoor swimming pool. The rooms are not the largest, nor are they the nicest, decorated in bright florals and blonde woods. Still, you'll find desk/vanity combinations and a single control panel over the bed for all lights and the air-conditioning unit. Bathrooms have spacious counters and are well stocked with supplies. You won't get great views of the city from most of the rooms, since the hotel is surrounded by buildings of the same size. A few of the rooms are also suitable for those with disabilities. Suites offer considerably more space, and since they cost only a little more than the standard rooms, they are worth springing for. Head upstairs to the pool and gym area for the best views from this glass-enclosed space. The hotel offers free parking in a building next door and free Internet in its business center, and all rooms have free Internet access. The public areas are set for Wi-Fi. The lobby bar, set back deeply in a space behind the concierge, offers another quiet retreat, contrasting with its splashy marble-and-brass decor.
