The Ibis is well located on Plaza Congreso, and all rooms have street views, many facing the plaza. Double-glazed windows lock out noise in this busy location. Rooms are a good size for this price range, all with an identical color pattern. They are all doubles, but an extra bed is available, for a few dollars more. Some rooms also connect, which is an ideal option for a family or group of friends. Three rooms can accommodate travelers with disabilities. Bathrooms are bright and clean, all with showers and no tubs. Safes and hair dryers are available at the concierge. The basic Argentine restaurant is an incredible value at about $10 (£7.10) for a prix-fixe dinner. Breakfast is not included in the rates, but is about $5 (£3.55). The hotel is naturally popular with French tourists, and most of the staff speaks Spanish, English, and French. You'll find lots of college-age backpackers here.
