Frommer's Review
Can't get enough of polo? Then come here and party in polo style in this restaurant and sports bar (a block from a back entrance of the polo grounds), owned by Horacio and Bautista Heguy, two brothers who are players for the Indios Chapaleuful polo team. Every now and then, they come by to check things out. In season during November and early December, you can often find them celebrating here with fellow players. Service is extremely friendly and casual. Aside from the owners you won't find much about polo itself here, other than a mantle with a few trophies and a polo painting that looks more like an ad for Marlboro cigarettes. There is a large, expensive wine and mixed-drink selection, which includes champagne. The place is at its height in season when the bar section, graced by an enormous television, plays host to rowdy and happy patrons after polo games. A disco ball hangs from the ceiling, somewhat incongruous with the rest of the building, an old house that still retains some of its original elements.
