This wonderful little store in Palermo Soho takes its name from a character in a Borges story that took place in Palermo. You'll find very pretty, feminine clothing made of interesting materials here. Some examples of the offerings include popcorn shag sweaters handmade in Argentina from Italian wool, and crystal jewelry, some made to look like ornamental insects such as ladybugs and butterflies. The owner is Gabriela Sivori, and she works in the shop and designs some of the items for sale, all of which are made solely in Argentina. Open daily from 11:30am to 8pm, though hours fluctuate in the summer.
