If you'd like to see a bit of the Colorado River, daily paddle-wheeler cruises are available through Laughlin River Tours (tel. 800/228-9825 or 702/298-1047; laughlinrivertours.com) at the Aquarius Casino Resort. These cruises cost $14 for adults and $7 for children 4 to 12; dinner cruises ($35) are also available. At Don Laughlin's Riverside Resort Hotel & Casino (tel. 800/227-3849 or 702/298-2535), you can take a tour on the 65-foot USS Riverside to Davis Dam. These excursions last 80 minutes and cost $10 for adults and $6 for children ages 3 to 12.
If you'd rather look at natural surroundings than casino towers, consider booking a 6-hour jet-boat tour to the London Bridge with London Bridge Jet Boat Tours (tel. 888/505-3545 or 702/298-5498; www.jetboattour.com). On the way, the boat passes through scenic Topock Gorge. These powerful boats cruise at up to 40 mph and make the 58-mile one-way trip in 2 hours. Tours cost $52 for adults, $47 for seniors, and $32 for children ages 12 and under.
