Turkish Towels & Such -- If you're in the market for a few fluffy towels or one of those luscious Turkish bathrobes that sell for an arm and a leg in Bloomingdale's, the prices and selection at Bursa's Covered Bazaar can't be beat. The subtlest prints and plushest linens and towels are found at Özdilek, with branches in both the bazaar (exit the underground passage opposite the PTT and walk 1 block in) and a shopping center at Yeni Yalova Yolu 4, on the highway from the otogar (tel. 0224/219-6000). Silk fabrics, such as scarves, blouses, and tablecloths, are available in shops on the upper level of Koza Hani, the historic bedesten (covered market) next to Orhan Camii. For modern merchandise in a slick mall setting, the new glass pyramid-topped Zafer Plaza houses franchises such as Quicksilver, Vakko, Demirel, Mavi Jeans, and Polo Garage.
