Frommer's Review
This three-story hotel on a quiet street is a real find, and it keeps getting better. It offers a rare combination of low rates, extra-friendly management, and great, funky style. Rooms are basic and very small, with either two twin beds or one queen; although this was a bordello in a prior incarnation, everything is kept new and updated, from the mattresses to the minifridges. Muted desert colors add a spark of personality. The rooms surround a courtyard where you can enjoy satellite TV, a barbecue grill, and free coffee. The third floor has a rooftop terrace with palapa and a small swimming pool. Also on this floor is a suite equipped with a king-size bed and Jacuzzi. It's a colorful, palapa-topped, open-air room with hanging tapetes (woven palm mats) for additional privacy. A large fish freezer is available, and most rooms have kitchenettes. The hotel's just 2 blocks from downtown and the marina. A lively restaurant next door will even deliver pitchers of margaritas and dinner to your room.
Facilities:
Small rooftop pool and sunning area; communal TV and barbecue
