Frommer's Review
This popular Cairns restaurant is located inside the Cairns Yacht Club. Eat inside (it's air-conditioned), outside on the timber deck, or on the veranda overlooking the beach and Trinity Inlet. Chef -- and sailor -- Ian Candy serves up innovative seafood dishes that have kept the locals patronizing his restaurants for years. The menu features "everything from burgers to lobster," and there are up to 15 specials daily. The local barramundi, or "barra," shows up in several incarnations, and there's also pasta, steaks, and Thai-inspired curries. Live jazz plays on Thursday nights. Drink prices are more than reasonable.
