You can't quite sink your toes into the sand, but you are just yards from the beach at this pleasant restaurant in the Angsana Resort. The laid-back fine-dining fare includes plenty of fresh seafood -- try offerings such as red emperor with roasted fennel and tomato salad, kipfler potato and truffle cream dressing, or Hinchinbrook bluewater barramundi with brandade mash and saffron beurre blanc. The restaurant sometimes sets up tables on the lawn among the palm trees beside the beach. The service is relaxed and friendly, and the crowd is a mix of guests from this and other nearby resorts.
