Ask for a table on the veranda, overlooking Trinity Beach’s esplanade and the sea. This smart but relaxed Italian restaurant has a great vibe and terrific staff. The wood-fired oven produces pizzas with interesting toppings (prawns, chorizo, red onion, and paprika, for example), and the kitchen makes good use of local ingredients in all dishes (angel hair pasta with Moreton Bay bugs—that would be seafood—is one of my favorite dishes here). There’s a cocktail bar and a bar menu available throughout the day—and a kids’ menu, too.
