On the outskirts of town but easily accessible, Fish Creek Park is one of the largest urban parks in the world -- actually, a kind of metropolitan wildlife reserve. Spreading over 1,175 hectares (2,900 acres), it provides a sheltered habitat for a vast variety of animals and birds.
