A few blocks south of 17th Avenue's street scene is this nouveau hunting lodge-style brewpub. Don't think pub grub -- though you can get a good burger here -- because Wildwood Grill offers high-end cuisine to match their house-made ales. In addition to pasta, wood-fired pizza (lemon thyme chicken with goat cheese is a delicious choice), and upscale standards such as chicken breast sautéed with thyme and truffles, the pub specializes in game dishes. Caribou scaloppine with sour cherry ginger sauce is a standout for adventurous meat eaters. In good weather, the covered patio is a great spot to sample the brewery's excellent drafts.
