Downtown's most upscale hotel, the Hyatt is linked to the Telus Convention Centre and is convenient to shopping and arts venues. Guest rooms are large, measuring roughly 27 sq. m (400 sq. ft.), with comfy furniture and great views. Suites are truly spacious, with most of the comforts of home. All rooms come with high-speed Internet access and two-line speaker phones, just the thing for the busy traveler. The hotel's Stillwater Spa is a full-service day spa, with a combination of massage and hydro therapies, body wraps, and beauty treatments for both men and women. The fitness center and saline pool, located on the 18th floor, offers majestic views across the city skyline to the Rockies. The Hyatt flanks historic Stephen Avenue; and rather than leveling the 1890s stone storefronts, the Hyatt cleverly incorporates them into the hotel's facade. Original art worth C$2 million (US$1.4 million) is on display in the hotel lobby and corridors.
