Most people agree that this is the finest Chinese restaurant in Cambridge, and so do we. We've always found Charlie Chan reliable and capable, which is remarkable given its huge menu. Downstairs is a long corridorlike restaurant, with pristine decor. The ambience is more lush in the Blue Lagoon upstairs. Most of the dishes here are inspired by the traditional cuisine of Beijing. The specialties we've most enjoyed include an aromatic and crispy duck, lemon chicken, and prawns with garlic and ginger.
