Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort, Spa & Marina ReviewThis resort, on 342 acres on the Choptank River, has facilities beyond any other property in the area, with enough amenities to keep families busy without ever leaving the grounds -- as well as a variety of packages that take advantage of the countryside. Most rooms have balconies, though of varying size (if you want one big enough to sit on, ask for it). Corner rooms seem a little bigger. Rocking chairs and hammocks invite visitors to watch the river roll by. The spa, marina, and 18-hole par-5 golf course are open to the public. Have your heart set on a massage? | 3 stars | Frommer's Exceptional |
Frommer's ranks every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment it reviews for quality, value, service, amenities, and special features using a star-rating scale, an expression of the strong compare-and-contrast opinions that are a brand hallmark.
Other ratings provide stars based primarily on price and amenities; the Frommer's star rating is meant to quantify the kind of intangible, experiential elements that help travelers make informed decisions.
The "baseline" recommendation is zero stars--every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment that Frommer's chooses to review is recommended; otherwise, we simply wouldn't include it.
