Frommer's Review
This small resort hotel, right on the west bank of Canandaigua Lake, features some excellent outdoors amenities, such as a great golf course (ask about special golf packages), a private beach, and an outdoor swimming pool. The 31 cozy Adirondack-style rooms aren't merely an afterthought: They all have fireplaces and balconies, many with superb panoramic views of the lake. The Lodge restaurant, is quite good, and the Tavern is a great place to unwind after a round of golf or touring the area.
