This popular hangout for local residents is also a fun spot for visitors to Cancún. Located in the heart of downtown, this dimly-lit restaurant and jazz club offers a smooth cosmopolitan ambience. The Caribbean-themed menu offers a range of casual dining choices, including salads, pastas, and fresh fish and steaks grilled on the parilla. It's accompanied by live music, including flamenco, jazz, and fusion. Decking the walls are original works of art by local painters. The music starts at 10:30pm, and Roots seldom fills up before 9:30pm.
