JW Marriott's signature restaurant Gustino offers romantic Italian dining unsurpassed in Cancún. The refined dining room includes a gorgeous centerpiece candle display, floor-to-ceiling windows looking out to a lazy man-made lagoon and the beach beyond, and live saxophone. Among the rich selection of antipastis, the black shell mussels, minestrone, and Festival dei Frutti de Mare for two are the best. For a main course, consider homemade pasta, the veal scallopini, or filet of beef tenderloin in a red-wine sauce served with fresh vegetables. There's also a wide selection of fresh fish and seafood. Gustino boasts an open kitchen and wine cellar with an excellent variety of international grapes. Service is outstanding.
