This spectacular resort sits on one of the best locations in Cancún, with 300m (984 ft.) of prime beachfront and proximity to the main shopping and entertainment centers. The all-suites hotel includes junior suites with sunken sitting areas, whitewashed furniture, marble bathrooms, and soothing California colors, although some could use an upgrade. Guests staying in Grand Club suites have access to a private rooftop lounge, exclusive check-in, continental breakfast, hors d'oeuvres, and beverages. Service throughout this five-diamond property is gracious and attentive, and the expansive lobby is embellished with elegant dark-green granite and fresh flowers. The hotel's idyllic Punta Cancún location has the advantage of facing the beach to the north where the surf is calm and perfect for swimming, although you may feel tempted not to leave the magnificent pool area. Families will appreciate the Fiesta Kids Activities, which include nonstop games, contests, and shows for the little ones. There are daylong sports and social activities planned for adults, as well. The resort's international clientele includes many European, Japanese, Mexican, and American visitors.
