This simple but cheerful hotel next to the Parque Las Palapas has 11 individually decorated rooms on three floors with small balconies, and mosaic-trimmed baths with showers only. A tiny bridge crosses the small pool at the entrance. Come here if you want to explore the downtown and experience Cancún's more local flavor, but don't expect much in the way of service or amenities. The hotel sits up one flight of stairs, just above a tapas and wine bar.
