A great value for the price, the Kubu Bali is comfortable and atmospheric. Just off the main street, this quiet little hillside sanctuary is situated in a ravine of rice terraces, cobblestone gardens, statues, benches, aviaries, and pavilions. Handsomely decorated individual bungalows are simple, bright, and airy, with comfortable amenities. The bathrooms have tile-and-stone showers open to the sky. Each cottage has a porch with lazy lounge chairs in the shade. At the highest point on the grounds is a cozy pool area with views of the ocean.
