Screen idols and sex symbols flood the front terrace of this restaurant during the film festival. Almost every chair is emblazoned with the names of movie stars (who may or may not have occupied it), and tables are among the most sought-after in town. You can choose from the restaurant or the less formal grill room. Meals in the restaurant may include rack of lamb, soupe des poissons (fish soup) with rouille, simply grilled fresh fish (perhaps with aioli), bouillabaisse with lobster, pepper steak, and sea bass flambéed with fennel. Items in the grill are more in the style of an elegant brasserie, served a bit more rapidly and without as much fuss but at more or less the same prices. An appropriate finish in either section may be smooth peach melba.
