This former Beaux Arts-style villa lies a minute's walk from the railway station and a 5-minute walk from the beach. Inside you'll find a wide assortment of rooms and room sizes, with the biggest having soaring ceilings and a sense of monumental spaciousness, and the smallest being cramped but with manageable beds. Simple and sparsely decorated, this is the type of hotel where you'll do little more than sleep. Seven of the rooms have tiny balconies overlooking the street. Expect a polite staff and a clientele that includes gay men and -- to a lesser extent -- women, many of whom are involved with aspects of the film industry.
