Although not in the town's best location (there are parking lots all around), this hotel manages to capture Cannon Beach's spirit economically. A white picket fence, green shutters, and cedar-shingle siding give the hotel plenty of character, while inside you'll find attractively furnished rooms that vary in size and price. The best rooms are those with fireplaces and whirlpool tubs, and two of these have partial ocean views. Rooms are also available in three nearby buildings, with some of these rooms being more luxurious than those in the main hotel.
