This is a sophisticated, semiurban population, and you'll rarely encounter an overtly bigoted innkeeper, shopkeeper, or restaurateur. To avoid unpleasant situations, read between the lines of promotional literature ("fun for the whole family" may mean rampant bedlam and not much fun for you), or be blunt in stating your expectations (for example, "It will be for myself and my partner, [name goes here], and we'd like a queen bed, if possible").
