Housed in an old, gutted warehouse with exposed bricks and draped Persian carpets creating a spacious yet warm environment, Anatoli has been serving up Cape Town's best Turkish mezze (appetizer) platter since 1986. Served with loaves of bread so freshly baked they're too hot to touch, mezze choices are carried to the table on huge wooden trays, each bowl more delectable than the next. Waiters will run you through the dishes. Don't miss the hot potato rolls made with cheese, egg, chile, and parsley, and baked in phyllo; the cold taboulleh made with cracked wheat, mint, tomato, and cucumber; or the seriously good dolmades (stuffed grape leaves). Choose a selection to share, and don't bother with mains. A great choice if you're looking for an informal, relaxed evening.
